Asako is a Choreographer and a Teaching Artist, living and working in New York City. With a background in classical piano, her early passion for music led her to pursue dance.
She holds BA in Music and completed professional trainee program from Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. Through out her career, she has showcased her choreography and performed both nationally and internationally.
She is a certified Feldenkrais method practitionoer, and her teaching approach is deeply influenced by its holistic philosophy. She emphasizes the integration of physical, mental and emotional aspect in her teaching.
